Baby Caretta Carette Enjoyin Its Meal

As the followers know, sometimes baby caretta carettas can get stuck in the nests. In these situations, especially on beaches where stones are densely located, we dig the nest and take out the babies.

We usually prefer evening hours to send the babies we have taken out of the nest to the sea. Thus, possible damage to humans or birds of prey is minimized. Sometimes the puppies we take out of the nest become weak and we host them in our rehabilitation center for a few days.

In this video, you can see the baby caretta caretta that stayed with us for a few days. She was one of the last babies of 2021.
